Photographing birds is my main aim but more and more when I'm outside I tend to notice Butterflies, Dragonflies, Damselflies, Moths, Insects & even Reptiles etc!  Most of these are pretty small so it's a challenge to get a good picture of them with the large zoom lenses I use for birding.

 

I therefore invested in a macro lens and below are a few examples - in no particular order!
